How do we develop our registration rates?
  • Registration prices are determined by a variety of factors as we balance affordability for attendees (our top priority) as well as the cost of hosting a conference (e.g., space, online conference software, staffing, AV/tech support, food and beverages) which has risen significantly since our last conference. 

Do you offer discounted rates?
  • Best discounted rate will apply if you register early (before January 06, 2023). Also, student pricing is already significantly discounted thanks to our Sponsors.

What is NOT included with my registration?

  • Not Included: Your travel to and from Orlando, hotel accommodations, breakfast and dinner (outside of special events noted) are not included with your registration.

How to donate and apply for travel funds related to diversity, equity, and inclusion?
  • We are no longer accepting applications - travel funds have already been awarded.
    We greatly appreciate the generous contributions by our sponsors and friends; we have been able to award funding to help subsidize registration to attend the SDT 2023 Conference. The purpose of these funds is to promote inclusion, diversity, and equity. 

Can I cancel my registration if I can't attend?

  • Yes. We are looking forward to gathering with you in Orlando and remain confident that we will be able to do it safely. However, we understand that the situation with COVID-19 requires us to be flexible.

    If required, cancellations may be made for a refund in accordance with the following schedule: 

    • Notice in writing by January 15, 2023: 100% refund
    • Notice in writing between January 16- February 28, 2023: 80% refund
    • Notice in writing between March 1-April 15, 2023: 50% refund
    • Notice after April 15, 2023: no refund

    This policy will apply to your registration fees for the Conference only and does not apply to any other reservations made related to this event such as hotel accommodations, transportation, etc.
